1. Know of a good, INEXPENSIVE alteration place?
or 2. (more preferably)... Want to do a simple alteration on a bridesmaid dress? :)
My dress for Mandy's wedding is in, and the wedding is in 2.5 weeks. ALL that needs to be done is for the length to go from ankle length to tea length. It's satin with 1 simple under layer. The store where I got it quote me $80, half the price of the dress. I am not picky or a perfectionist, I just need it done! Any ideas?

Caroline, check with a dry cleaners in town. Lots of times they have someone that alters things, and are usually pretty reasonable!
