Family Reunion '09

This year, my mom's family got together in Frisco/Dallas over the 4th of July weekend. We had a fun time catching up, resting, swimming, fireworks, lots of kiddo activities (The Children's Museum, Gatti's Play land) eating, and playing with the babies. My cousins who hosted - Marty and Emily- went WAY out of there way for us allergy folks. They made sure all meals were gluten free for my Aunt and I, and nut free for my Dad. They even had little pictures of wheat and nuts that they attached to things if we needed to stay away from it. Of course, they acted like it was no big deal, but it meant the WORLD to me. Right after we all left, Marty and her boyfriend of 4 years, James, got engaged! I am so happy for them! So we'll be headed back to that area for a wedding over Labor Day weekend. We don't often get to see each other twice a year, so this will be a special treat.
