Want a dinner that only takes about 7 minutes to prepare? I have posted the link for this recipe before, but who has time for that? Here you go. SO easy. So good. And of course it is from the Pioneer Woman. You can serve it up fancy, as tacos, or just on a plate with some sides (my favorite).
2-4 pounds pork shoulder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 Tablespoon chili powder
1 Tablespoon salt
Pepper to taste
4 cloves of garlic
3 Tablespoons olive oil
2 Tablespoons white wine vinegar
1/2 cups Brown Sugar
1 whole Onion, cut into quarters
Here are the complicated steps...
1. Throw everything but the pork into a food processor.
2. Blend mixture until it is completely mixed into a sauce.
3. Put the pork in the crock pot. Pour the sauce over the shoulder. Make sure every single part of the meat is covered.... Put the lid on and turn the crock pot on low.
4. Come back in 7ish hours. No more than 8... This is not a recipe to make if you aren't sure what time you'll be home. The sugar will burn if it cooks too long. I learned this the hard way.
